CIEPD’s Organizational Structure
Governance Structure: CIEPD has a written Constitution that provides the basis for its existence and activities, a 3-member Board of Trustees that formulates policy, provides guidance and focus, and has oversight responsibility for program operations; and a Management Team at its headquarters in Port-Harcourt that manages the day-to-day operations of the organization.
Operational Structure: CIEPD currently has about 10 employees organized into two operational departments under one Executive Director. The departments are Programs that manage donor funded-programs, Administration and Finance that provides administrative and financial support for the organization.
CIEPD’s Strategic Framework
CIEPD’s current strategic framework has three strategic objectives; Strengthening Organizational Development: Develop innovative resources mobilization strategy: expand programme areas.
During the strategic framework period, CIEPD seeks to become the premiere “go to” organization for programs on peace and security/Governance. CIEPD will continue to maintain its focus building/promoting peaceful co-existences in/among the communities of Niger Delta region.
