We operate in full-stack project teams, with full-time staff, interns and volunteers working closely together on several projects in the Niger-Delta region. We’re proud of what we’ve done together and we think you’ll be happy too!

Who We Are

CIEPD currently has about 10 employees organized into four operational departments under one Executive Director. The departments are Programs that manage donor funded-programs, Administration and Finance that provides administrative and financial support for the organization, and Service that provides direct services to the public. The direct services include Conflict Management/Gender based Violence, Governance, Capacity building (Training) and Economy (Entrepreneurship).

What We Do At CIEPD

Community Initiative for Enhanced Peace and Development is a non- profit, private organization with the aim of promoting community development by ensuring/ enhancing peaceful co-existence and cooperation. We believe in “Restoring the dignity and worth of human person”! CIEPD stems from the passion to foster development in the rural communities by creating an enable environment for peace building activities – conflict management and resolution through participatory community approach. CIEPD has forged partnerships with civil society organizations and other stakeholders working to ensure peace co-existence and sustainable development of communities in the Niger Delta.

Mr. Bagbi holds a Diploma as well as a Degree in Accountancy. He also bags a Master Degree in Management from University of Derby United Kingdom. He started his professional career as an intern in Bari and Bari Chartered Accountants in Nigeria, after which he moved to UAC Foods Limited (a subsidiary of UAC Nigeria Plc). He joined AFTRAC LIMITED as Head of Finance and Accounts, a position he occupied for 5 years and later became the Group Head-Finance and Accounts from May 2009 to April 2011 with the responsibility of overseeing all the subsidiary accounts that made up the –AFTRAC GROUP. Mr Bagbi later worked with Enefa Ekine & Co. Chartered Accountants as Audit Senior (October 2011-Feb 2013) Mr. Bagbi experience cut across the Oil /Gas sector, Audit/Investigation, Office Administration, Business development and Building construction Industry. He is proficient in the use of Modern Accounting, Budget/Budgeting Control, Accounting Software Applications (Peachtree and Tally) and Project Management Course. With the wealth of experience acquired he was appointed as Executive Director – Business Development, Psovic Overflows International Nig. Ltd in 2009. Mr. Bagbi believes in constant innovation in business to boost growth, applying modern techniques and best practice to improve organization advancement. He will be working with our Account Advisor to make sure CIEPD delivers “value for your money project” He is poise to drive CIEPD to become a formidable and world class NGO with credibility and standard.
