ACEP HALF YEAR REPORT, 2019
 
African centre for Environmental Protection embarked on some activities in the first half of the Year, these activities include:
 
 
1) Waste Management is a very important sector of any State.
We encouraged a Faith based Organization in Rivers State during their annual program in January by providing waste bins to support their already existing waste collection process
 
 
2) Air Pollution /Tree Planting Campaign.
Eveafrique organized a Redcarpet event titled Going Greener. This was held on the 12th of May, 2019, at Hago heights event centre, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
We had the opportunity during the event to talk about Air Pollution.
 
 
3) World Environment Day, celebration, 2019
This was celebrated in Kano state on the 26th of June to celebrate World Environment Day, 2019.
The event Tagged: ‘‘Air Pollution’’ …We can't stop breathing but we can do something about the quality of the air we breathe...
It gathered Green-Teens (Next generation Eco-warriors) from selected schools across Kano state with the objective of creating environmental awareness culture and an Eco- responsible mindset.
The schools include: Khalid Bin Walid Secondary School, Danladi Nasidi Housing Estate Boys Secondary School & Babayaro Memorial International School.
